Got ourselves a mighty fine stay, y’all! The private onsen was just perfect, sittin’ out there lookin’ at the trees. The staff were super sweet and made us feel right at home. Oh, and that Kaiseki dinner? Heavenly! I reckon I could’ve eaten that local beef every day!

Had a great stay! The private onsen with a forest view was the highlight, super relaxing. Dinner was top-notch, especially the Hida beef. Only downside was the early 10am checkout, wish I had more time to soak.

The breakfast options featured fresh fruit and local specialties like grilled miso, which I found very satisfying. Also, checkout at 10am felt a bit rushed. Still, the hospitality and service levels were impressive, enhancing my stay significantly. Would return for the unique ryokan experience.

The private onsen in my room was a game-changer, feeling like a personal escape into nature with a beautiful view of the trees. also, the kindness of the staff can't be overstated, one lady seemed to anticipate my needs, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome.

It was a bit pricey, but honestly, every penny was worth it.

We also took a break for skiing and mountain biking nearby, which was awesome. The staff were accommodating, and the shuttle service made it easy to get around.

We had to organize our taxi for the next place, which could have been more streamlined. It would’ve been nice to have assistance instead of having to handle it ourselves.
